Keeping Your Patients Healthy:
Preventive Health Guidelines
At HealthPlus, we believe that prevention is one of the keys to good health. Providing comprehensive preventive health benefits allows members to receive the quality care they need to remain healthy or to detect illness early. The preventive health guidelines are minimal recommendations for healthy, "low risk" patients. A listing of risk factors for many of the indicators is included.
The guidelines health charts are based upon evidence-based recommendations of national organizations. We have developed one version of the guidelines that can be used by both doctors and patients. The guidelines are reviewed regularly and updated as new information becomes available. They are intended to serve as a basis for you and your patients to discuss their needs. |
