HealthPlus of Michigan is pleased to introduce our new Primary Care Physician Performance Reports, a great new resource for members that can help you select a primary care physician (PCP) for you and your family. We have worked together with the doctors in the HealthPlus Network to develop a searchable Primary Care Physician Performance tool that is presented in an easy-to-read report format. This tool is now available as a new feature of our online Provider Directory.

The Primary Care Physician Performance Reports are the result of our Primary Care Transparency Program, which makes clinical quality and satisfaction performance information available to members to help them make informed health care choices. The HealthPlus’ Primary Care Transparency Program provides members with the information they need to choose health care providers based upon nationally accepted evidence-based care guidelines.

Providing physician performance information is just one way HealthPlus is working with health care providers and members to create better health care outcomes. The use of resources like the Primary Care Physician Performance tool can be effective in empowering members to make informed decisions about their health care.
